By Geoffrey Williams and Wires

Established in 2015, Unforgettable Croatia is a small-ship cruise line specialising in exceptional sailings in Croatia. Operating the newest fleet of small ships in the country, guests enjoy seven-night cruises navigating the Dalmatian coast on departures from May to October each year. The luxury ships are up to 52-metres long and house a maximum of 19 spacious cabins, many with private balconies. Through a proven local network, guests experience authentic experiences and excursions at each port.

As Unforgettable Croatia kicks off its 2025 season, the luxury small-ship operator has launched its curated restaurant guide showcasing a selection of the best eateries on offer in the destinations the cruise line visits along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. Covering a range of cuisines such as local Croatian delicacies, Mediterranean, Asian-fusion, as well as vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes, the 2025 edition features 55 restaurants, up from 47 in 2024. Recommendations are handpicked by Unforgettable Croatia’s client services team who are on hand to assist guests with cuisine-related queries pre-departure.

Two of the restaurants have a Michelin star – Pelegrini in Sibenik and Dubrovnik’s Restaurant 360 – while a dozen more are Michelin recommended restaurants including Nautika, Zuzori and Marco Polo in Dubrovnik, Restaurant Šug and Zoi in Split, Mediterraneo Dine&Wine in Hvar and Korcula’s Restaurant Filippi. With travellers increasingly booking Unforgettable cruise and land packages that take in surrounding countries such as Slovenia and Montenegro, the guide highlights restaurants in Ljubljana and Kotor for the first time.

The new venues added to this year’s restaurant guide include:
Kotor: Restaurant Galion – Seafood and Mediterranean; Restaurant Astoria – Mediterranean and international; and Konoba Scala Sante – Seafood and Mediterranean
Ljubljana: Restavracija Valvas’or – Mediterranean and European; Restaurant Cubo – Local cuisine and seafood; and Landerik – Local and European cuisine
Sibenik: Konoba Nostalgija – Seafood and Mediterranean
Hvar: Blue Doors – Local cuisine.

“Our popular restaurant guide allows guests to discover some of the finest dining establishments in the destinations they visit,” said Graham Carter, co-founder of Unforgettable Croatia. “Guests can set sail on a culinary adventure, with handpicked recommendations designed to elevate their experience at every port of call. From hidden gems to celebrated local favourites, these venues offer fresh flavours, authentic cuisine and an unforgettable ambience”.
