Bhaya Cruises debuts Ha Long Bay wellness cruises

By Tiffany West

Briefly …

Bhaya Cruises is celebrating the debut of its newest ship – the Bhaya Soul – with a boutique program of wellness cruises offering voyages through Ha Long Bay. Blending luxury, mindfulness, and cultural immersion, ‘The Soul Sanctuary’ program creates a deeper, more restorative way to experience Vietnam’s iconic seascape.

Bhaya Cruises, a pioneer in luxury cruising on Vietnam’s UNESCO-listed Hạ Long Bay, has celebrated the debut of its newest ship – the ‘Bhaya Soul’ – with an exclusive series of three specially curated, all-inclusive wellness cruises amidst the ethereal backdrop of Hạ Long Bay’s limestone karsts.

On one day each month, with the third departure on 3 December 2025, the Bhaya Soul is transformed into a floating sanctuary of calm and connection for ‘The Soul Sanctuary’ program. For the 3 December departure, guests will experience a cultural and musical journey with the Classical Guitar Session: Melodies Around the World, as melodies inspired by different cultures are performed live onboard. Just as Hạ Long Bay is a meeting place of sky, stone, and sea, the guitar unites travellers from different backgrounds through the universal language of music.

With only 20 suites, each featuring a private terrace and bay-view bathtub, ‘The Soul Sanctuary’ experience is designed for privacy, rejuvenation, and connection. Guests enjoy access to onboard events and luxury amenities, including a lounge and bar, and a restaurant offering à-la-carte and buffet dining, with each meal celebrating Vietnam’s culinary heritage with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and gardens.

Beyond the vessel, Bhaya Soul curates a series of meaningful excursions that bring Hạ Long Bay’s natural and cultural wonders to life. Guests can kayak through the serene lagoons and hidden tunnels of Ba Hầm Lake, explore the mysterious Tiên Ông Cave with its ancient stalactites and archaeological significance, or cycle through Việt Hải Village, connecting with local communities and their traditional way of life. Every activity is designed to encourage mindful exploration and a deeper appreciation of the destination.

Committed to sustainability, Bhaya Cruises integrates waste management and local sourcing, while actively supporting community and conservation initiatives. Onboard, advanced wastewater treatment, waste sorting, and energy solutions are all employed to reduce the environmental impact, and eco-friendly materials have been selected throughout the vessel and its interior design.
